How to get around by Local Bus across the island of Santorini in Greece
El Local bus (remember that it is green) covers most of the island's routes, going to the different beaches and towns. Keep in mind that many of the public buses are similar to tourist buses, therefore you have to be careful not to make the mistake of missing the bus.
La Main bus station is located in the central square of Fira. Do not expect to find a "great station", simply it is a small square where the buses park. Right in the same square, you have a poster with the schedules of the different bus lines that leave from there.
The option that most of us who visit the island use is rent a vehicle, be it a car, quad or motorbike. On the island there is a lot of rent to rent a quad because they are super-manageable and are parked anywhere. We leave below a car rental comparator for you to see the best offer on the island.
It is very important to remember that the schedules and frequencies of buses change often and without notice, hence we are all the time indicating that it is not very reliable.
