The excursion begins going to look for you at the hotels where you stay. Once they have picked you up, it's time to go to the town with the highest altitude on the entire island, Pyrgos and its famous Venetian castle. From there it is easy to reach the viewpoints that are located near the Profitis Ilias mountain where you can get some fantastic views of the island of Santorini. After this stop, it's time to admire the typical architecture of the Cyclades, with whitewashed buildings and blued domes in the town of Megalochori.
As everything in Santorini is not the white houses with their blue domes and, to learn a little about the history of the island, you will go to Akrotiri enclave where you can know the fascinating Minoan culture from the island of Santorini. Much of the ruins are in a great state of conservation due to various volcanic eruptions that buried the place.
From Akrotiri and, taking a short walk, you reach the famous Santorini's red beach, spectacular for the color of the walls that surround it and its crystalline shallow waters. From here, the excursion heads towards Perivolos and its black sand beach where you will have time to have lunch on your own.
Entering the afternoon, the tour brings you up to a cellar to taste the wines local, are special due to how the vine is born and grows in volcanic lands. After the tasting, the sun will be setting, the ideal time to get to Oia and enjoy the incredible sunset next to the boiler.
From the town of Oia, the trip back to your respective hotels is undertaken.
