The route Starts at Kamari, very close to Hotel Matina. It starts from a cobbled street uphill with lots of curves. The road is one old street surrounded by a section of the cemetery of the old city. The excavations of Zafeiropoulos N. (1961 - 1982) revealed the street and its numerous tombs. They cover a large part of the city's long history, which was inhabited from the 8th century BC to the first Christian centuries.

This is a a bit difficult road since it's uphill and the sun usually hits a lot. Luckily, you can find several resting places in the shade of the pines.
