Mesa & Exo Gonia, agriculture at the service of tourism

Located in the amazing vines that cover large areas of Santorini, these two villages are totally agricultural. During the day they are totally tranqulos sites in clear contradiction with the nearby Kamari.

Exo Gonia has an amphitheater and it has some wonderful churches inside. Most of them are made up of the classic red roof tiles with a bell tower looming over the city. The houses here are of the usual traditional cycling class.

What to see at Mesa & Exo Gonia

La Church of Panagia Episkopi It is one of the most important Byzantine churches of Santorini. Located south of the village of Mesa Goni, this church was built in the 12 century AD and is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

Canava Roussos It is located in a beautiful location, on the central highway of Mesa Gonia. Surrounded by extensive vineyards, it is one of the oldest wineries in Santorini.
